My name is Dinah Miriam Miller.  I am a native of Waco, married and the proud mother of five amazing sons.  I am a Clinical Master Herbalist and Holistic Practitioner.  I have served the Waco area for the last 20 years as a Clinical Master Herbalist, Holistic Practitioner and Holistic Educator. 

 

My journey began after leaving pre-med school to seek out other medical models which led me into holistic and alternative medicine and modalities.  I began studying herbal medicine in which I obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Utah's sister school; School of Natural Healing founded by Dr. John Christopher.  I continued my holistic journey studying the works of some of the greatest herbalists and holistic practitioners & healers in the U.S., including Juliette Barclay, Susan Weed, Rosemary Gladstar, Dr. Christopher, Marijah McCain and many others. I immersed myself in thousands of hours of training via books, classes, clinical work and personal experience. I have committed myself to a lifelong journey of holistic study & application.  I obtained many certifications & experiences in other holistic modalities such as Clinical Homeopathy, Family Herbalism, Herbal Nutrition, Advanced Energetic Healing, Emun-ah Emotional Healing, Uni-Flex:Reflexology, Crystal/Mineral Therapy, Sound Therapy, Light/Color Therapy, Guided Meditation, Life Coaching, Spiritual Counsel & Adamic Counselor of Torah-Kabbalah Wisdom.  

 

The vast knowledge aquired from different teachers, wisdom healers, shamans, clinicians and other great helpers to humanity was priceless, more than a college education could ever teach or fullfill.  I realized the great healers and physicians of old worked in energy, intuition, tradition, elder wisdom, and the education they recieved was passed down to them not through higher institutional education, but higher institutional knowledge gained through oral and written tradition & teachings.

 

I have been invited to teach holistic medicine at Baylor University, McLennan Community College, Holistic Nurses Association and many other local businesses & organizations. I teach at local community gatherings and instruct  personal/group classes.  I have a clinical practice downtown Waco and I am proud to be known as Waco's Village Herbalist!
